BEHIND THE WORK
Designer Blaque Reily is a little bit of this, a little bit of that. She grew up an Alaskan, the daughter of a photographer and a commercial fisherman. A girl with a boy’s name, a creative with an MBA.
Blaque sees jewelry as an artifact passing through time and across lives. In her own work she tries to replicate this sense of intention and longevity —jewelry as a piece of art and a piece of person.
She likes baggy pants, David Sedaris and fancy cheese.
